M.I.T.S. GUIDELINES - READ CAREFULLY
I. CLUB REGISTRATION
A. No school issued checks can be used for registration fee.
This includes Booster Club checks.
B. Club name should not include school name, mascot, or symbol
C. Club name should not be offensive

II. MEET PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
A. Do not use school transportation i.e. Bus, Vans.
B. Do not wear any school issued uniforms or running apparel
that could be construed as school issued. E.g. (If running
apparel says Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard, it is easy for someone
to assume that it is school issued)
C. Entry fees at meets cannot be paid with school issued checks.
D. Athletes must use club name when entering events and
reporting finishes.
E. All meet entry fees are determined by the Meet Director at
each site, the Meet Director reserves the right to the dismiss
any individual i.e. (athlete, coach, parent, entire club) from
their facility in the event of misconduct. This will be reported
to the appropriate M.I.T.S. Director.
F. The jewelry rule and the temporary adornment will be in
effect (temporary tattoos/jewelry will be disallowed)
G. All relays must have matching tops (not plain white T-shirts)
H. Relay splits will be requested and turned into Meet Director
in order to confirm your relay teams time please record.
I. No spikes are allowed at any of the qualifying meets, however
spikes will be allowed at the Championship Meet.
IT WILL BE THE COACHES RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT THOSE
INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ON THE SELECTION COMMITTEE PERTAINING TO
THEIR ATHLETE /RELAY PERFORMANCE S AND PARTICPATION IN THE
CHAMPIONSHIP MEET.
ADULT OFFICIALS ARE NEEDED AT ALL MEETS- PLEASE VOLUNTEER
NO PERFORMANCE WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP MEET UNLESS
THE ATHLETE REPRESENTS A M.I.T.S. PAID REGISTERED CLUB.
